The Benefits of the Suburbs, the Convenience
of the City
With the development of Beaufont Grove,
for the first time in many years the city
of Richmond offers families a newly developed
community that contains a newly constructed
elementary school. The Richmond Redevelopment
and Housing Authority (RRHA) donated to
the city of Richmond the 11 acres on which
the school sits. The school can accommodate
more than 600 children and the school's
computers and facilities rival those of
newly constructed West End schools.
Residents of Beaufont Grove will also enjoy
a newly constructed wetlands park and convenient
access to public transportation.
In addition, Beaufont Grove is located
within minutes of
- major hospitals and health care facilities
( such as Columbia Chippenham Medical
Center and Children's Hospital Outpatient
Center);
- a variety of restaurants and grocery
and convenience stores;
- many banks and other financial institutions;
- shopping centers (such as Cloverleaf
Mall);
- movie theatres;
- many of the city of Richmond's museums
and cultural centers.
