Beaufont Grove is Richmond's up-and-coming neighborhood for new, affordable and market-rate homes and for the first time in many years, a newly developed community that lies within the city and includes a community-based school.

Formerly known as Jefferson Village, Beaufont Grove is located in south Richmond, which is experiencing rejuvenation and renaissance. A new community of 47 affordable and market-rate homes for homeownership, and many amenities including the new school and a wetlands park, Beaufont Grove is playing a major role in south Richmond's reawakening. Beaufont Grove is also the result of a remarkably cooperative partnership] between the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (Virginia HUD office), the city of Richmond and the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA).
