RRHA's Public Safety Division,
staffed with highly trained, experienced
personnel, implements crime prevention
and community education efforts for
RRHA communities.
This division is dedicated solely to
promoting safety in public housing communities
and working closely with residents and
city police in preventing crime.
The division has the following initiatives
underway:
- RRHA Security HOTLINE -
A 24-hour telephone line for
residents and citizens to
report information or incidents.

- Information sessions- Workshops
which offer tips and suggestions
for preventing crime, domestic
violence, robbery, automobile
theft and sessions which offer
advice for promoting home
security and personal safety.
- Citizens on Patrol Program-
A voluntary resident
patrol program and training
programs for RRHA public housing
communities.
