The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s Police Department implements crime prevention and community education efforts throughout RRHA communities in partnership with the Richmond Police Department. The Department, staffed with highly-trained, experienced personnel, is dedicated to promoting RRHA’s commitment to public safety and working closely with residents, the community, and the City of Richmond in reducing and preventing crime.
The division has the following initiatives underway:
- RRHA POLICE DEPARTMENT HOTLINE - A 24-hour telephone line for residents and citizens to report information or incidents. (804) 780-4006. You may also email safety@rrha.com
- Information sessions- Workshops
which offer tips and suggestions
for preventing crime, domestic
violence, robbery, automobile
theft and sessions which offer
advice for promoting home
security and personal safety.
- Citizens on Patrol Program-
A voluntary resident
patrol program and training
programs for RRHA public housing
communities.
