HOPE VI is helping people help themselves.
HOPE VI assisted Blackwell's
former public housing residents with a comprehensive array of programs and services
that will help Blackwell's residents achieve
self-sufficiency. This part of the HOPE VI
Program is called the HOPE VI Self-Sufficiency
Training Program (SSTP). SSTP provideed current
and relocated Blackwell residents with access
to numerous resources including education,
job training, employment, day care, health
care and transportation.
